2022 NDAA | ep. 05

The 2022 NDAA has some very scary language being placed in it. Currently Rep. Adam Schiff wants to make oversight and accountability at the government level hidden under the guise of ‘National Defense’. Don’t be fooled that this is just a democrat position, it’s happening on both sides of the aisle.

However you should not take my word for it, read it for yourself.

Here is what Schiff proposed. This is the body of the amendment that he wrote in. Now it should also be said that this is not the only amendment to the NDAA, those will be covered in next week’s episode.

“1801. Office of Countering Extremism.
“1802. Training and education.
“1803. Data collection and analysis.
“1804. Reporting requirements.
“1805. Definitions.

Section 271 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:
“(d) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any information obtained by or with the assistance of a member of the Armed Forces in violation of section 1385 of title 18, shall not be received in evidence in any trial, hearing, or other proceeding in or before any court, grand jury, department, officer, agency, regulatory body, legislative committee, or other authority of the United States, a State, or a political subdivision thereof.”.
